Terms of service
Last updated 28 October 2026. These terms are an agreement between you and DigitalCarbon Inc., which runs anywhere at anywhere.so. By using anywhere, you agree to them. Our privacy policy says what we keep and why.
What to expect
Features change, things break, and there’s no promise of uptime. anywhere never rolls an app’s disk back: a file a deploy or an agent overwrites or deletes is gone, so keep your own copy of anything you can’t lose.
Your account
- You must be 13 or older, and old enough where you live to agree to these terms.
- You’re responsible for what’s done with your account, including by the AI agents you give tokens to. A token can do anything you can, so revoke one you no longer trust.
Your apps and data
- You own what you upload and what your apps make. You let us store, run, copy and send it only to provide anywhere to you and the people you share with.
- You’re responsible for your apps and what they do, including to the people you share them with.
What you can’t do
- Break the law, or anyone’s rights.
- Host malware, phishing or spam, or attack or scan systems that aren’t yours.
- Try to reach other people’s apps or data, break out of your app’s sandbox, or get around anywhere’s limits.
- Mine cryptocurrency, or put a load on anywhere that harms other users.
We may stop or remove an app, or suspend an account, that breaks these rules or puts others at risk, and tell you why when we can.
Plans
Each plan includes usage every month: $3 on Free, and $20 on Pro. Usage is what your apps use, charged at the rates in the docs: memory and CPU while they run, the disk they hold, and the data they send out. Each app can use up to its plan’s limits: on Free, 1 shared vCPU, 2 GiB of memory and 10 GiB of disk; on Pro, 4 shared vCPUs, 16 GiB of memory and 100 GiB of disk. Free includes up to 3 apps, and Pro any number. Deleting an app frees its place.
You never pay for more usage than your plan includes and the top-ups you buy. When your apps have used it all, they pause until the month resets on the 1st (UTC), you upgrade, or you add a top-up. Nothing is deleted.
On Pro, you can buy top-ups of usage, paid once. They never expire, and they’re used only after the month’s included usage, which doesn’t carry over.
We may change the rates and what each plan includes. A change applies only from when it takes effect, never to usage already charged.
You upgrade to Pro at anywhere.so/billing, signed in. Pro is billed monthly, and top-ups once, at the price the checkout shows, through Stripe Managed Payments. It’s sold through Link, from Stripe, which is the merchant of record: Link charges you, sends your receipts, handles any sales tax or VAT, and answers questions about payments and refunds through its own support.
You can cancel Pro any time, from Manage billing at anywhere.so/billing or at link.com. When the subscription ends, your account returns to Free.
If your plan changes, nothing is deleted. Each app keeps its limits until its next deploy, which applies the new plan’s. On Free with more than 3 apps, you keep them all, but can’t make a new one until you have fewer.
Ending
You can stop using anywhere at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may change anywhere or shut it down; we’ll give you notice when we can, so you can copy your data out.
No warranty
anywhere is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data or profits, and our total liability to you is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$100.
Changes
When these terms change, we’ll post them here and update the date above. For a change that matters, we’ll tell you before it applies.
